New pretty cards with THANKS to a Clever Gal!!!

hey there, just wanted to quickly pop in to give a shout out to a very Clever lady!! Ive just had some new cards designed, and by a fellow Blogger too!! who I must say is very clever in deed, she capured what I wanted EXACTLY!! ok ok so who is it?? and what do they look like???

Sheryn of Pink & Pretty designs is the Gal!! I stumbled across her blog one day while blog hopping and thought it was soooo pretty that I asked her if she designs cards etc, she hadnt done many and said she'd happily design some for me!! Sheryn is opening a website soon so make sure you book mark her blog and wait for the announcement!! the pretty border on my blog was also designed by her, see isnt she clever!! THANKS sweetie soooo much I LOVE my new calling & thank you cards!! Ok so here are my new calling cards!! LOVE em!!

Pretty in PINK & Busy Busy BUSY!!

Afternoon everyone!!! Firstly I must apologize for being so SLACK and not visiting!!! honesty I think I had fallen a sleep and woke up and weeks had passed! Does anyone else feel like that at times?? Man O Man!!! Things have been super quick and busy around here, We have a Fete that weve been asked to attend coming up in November and we have been allocated a stand at the Sunbury Market also, so Ive been trying to build up a big lot of items, including cupcakes, Hand Dyed (Soft Shabby colours of Course!) Doilies and also painting up a storm!!! And with Reindeer orders flowing Im trying to get on top of them too!!!

This morning I finished a new batch of linens / Doilies they are hanging outside in this glorious sunshine! Pale Pinks Soft Green and Dainty Blues.

I also recently had the most delightful afternoon with some Gorgeous Blogging Gals!!! Sarah and her lovely family came to Vic for their holidays and we were able to work with each other and orgainse a get together!! I was lucky enough that two of our other friends and also fellow bloggers werent busy and could come and meet Sarah and her family too!! Kirstie and Natasha!!! We all had such a wonderful afternoon (went TOOOOOO Quick), wuith Airfairs sooo cheap these days I know we will all be seeing each other VERY soon!!!

Dreaming of Christmas & Laundry Makeover!!

Morning everyone, hope your having a great week, which by the way seem to be flying past!! In no time it's gonna be, hmm yep you guessed it Christmas Already!!! AHHHHH EEKKSS!!! So how many of you have started Christmas shopping? I have put a heap of toys on lay by so got that part covered! This year as it's Jackson's First Christmas we are having all the Family here for Christmas lunch!! SOOO excited love having everyone here all the kids running around having fun, that's what it's all about! I found this stunning table cloth while Jackson and I (yep training him early) were out treasure hunting the other morning, I was going to dye it pale pink but thought hmm this would be great as a Christmas tablecloth so I'm keeping it white. it's got this gorgeous raised pattern and it's about nearly 3m long

here she is and a bar gin at $3- woop woop love them!!!

I also picked a huge amount of runners and doilies too and yep they are already pale pink!! here's my stack!! In the background you can see a memo board I have just finished, using Ashwell Sugarplum Sorbet fabric and it's framed by a stunning Ornate Vintage frame!! Will be listed on eBay soon Gals!!

Ive also been busy giving my laundry a spruce up, not one of the prettiest room in the house but certainly one of the busiest!! Well me for me anyway and our washing machine!!! So my father In law put up this sweet little Shelf for my powders etc and I borrowed this idea from Katrina for my fabric softeners!! For the light fitting I had this boring old white ball now thanks to Kirstie's input I rescued an old cane light shade from the trailer and draped a piece of Ashwell Fabric across it, added the word wash and Vela!! Done!! I'm very happy with it, now something pretty to look at while Im working and when I'm walking past!!

Ive also been busy making Christmas stuff, yep Sorry gals, already!! We have a market fete in a few weeks so I want to get a heap of stuff done for there, so Ive been busy making cupcakes and Christmas stuff for our stall!!! here are some Reindeer's Ive started, I've just finished Glittering them, just left is to embellish them and they are done!! Shabby Colours of course!! here's a peak

Anyone for a Cupcake or 2??? LOL!! I'm having an afternoon tea here this Sunday will be sure and take pictures, loads of gorgeous ladies and I even promised them I'd make REAL cupcakes!! here are some of my very own Faux Cupcakes and cakes! We supply 3 shops Statewide now very exciting but HARD work!!!

Shabby Lunches, Goodies & Shutter Speeds!!

hey everyone!! it has been the busiest time lately I just don't know where to start!! Our kids have been on School holidays here for the past 2 weeks so as normal it's been people visting, doing fun things and HMMM losing my marbles!!! LOL We've had some delightful visits and visitors during the holidays.

I had 2 of my best est girlfriends ( One Ive known for hmmm nearly 20 years and the other for well over 10 years) over for lunch one day, they both love and appreciate all things pretty so of course I set up a perfectly shabby pretty lunch setting!! I made a simple but yummy lunch with healthy Sandwiches and of course afterwards UN healthy cupcakes!!! YES I actually made real ones for a pleasant change!!

We had a wonderful lunch (apart from the 6 kids running around playing and in Jackson's case screaming for a bottle)

Then we also had another Special visitor a photographer named Matthew at 8.30 in the morning mind you, hmm yes hello I'm not a morning person at the best of times!!! let alone being ready and willing to have pictures taken of myself and my home! He was really great, Cooper loves photography and even has his own digital camera (Yes I know he is only 5) he takes some wonderful pictures, Matthew gave him a couple of lessons while he was here and they even took a picture of each other too!!! Why was he here??? Hmmm I can tell you now Ive been holding off telling until the article was published but now it has so I can spill the beans, I have been featured in our regional paper for LOL of all things my faux cupcakes!!! The editor saw my cupcake pictures and said " they are so beautiful I have to show them off" how cool is that!! Always great to be recognised for what you do!! Also over these Holidays we had the Gorgeous Kirstie and her equally Gorgeous daughters over for a nice long visit (YAY no running off to pick up kids!!) Normally when we visit it's during School hours and we are sooooo watching the clock all the time so we don't miss pick up times!!! YAY!!! thanks for the awesome Visit Girls!! While Kirstie

was here she gave me a some lessons on photography, and I must say what an awesome photographer she is!!! She took my camera and took a couple of photographs to show me what you can do, wanna see one???? This is one of my prom dress, I would never have thought about taking a picture like that!!! looks like it's straight from a magazine, Thanks Chickie for the lesson it was super fun!!!

Ive also started making something new, now that I'm in touch with the more Girly style of crafts!! LOl Ive decided to have a go at making name letters, I made these two one for my godson Thomas and the other for his big (well not so big she is only 12 months older than him) Georgia, I love how they turned out so I'm going to make a heap for our Fete stall we are having in a few weeks.

I must say a BIG shout out to all my face book Fan page members too!!! I really am truly humbled by the amount of people who have joined up to be fans/followers, I think last count was 196 people, that to me is just Amazing!!! Thanks so much should any of you be bloggers and are reading this!!!

Ive also been busy helping out a very Special Gal from the US!! My friend hmmm yep wait for it another AMANDA!!! She is putting together an awesome Magazine it's called "In the Pink" isn't that an utterly gorgeous name for a magazine!! keep up the hard work Amanda and defiantly take a break when your done!!!

Anyway better run, it's nearly time to organise dinner happy weekend to you all hope to post again soon!!! but sorry if i take my time, I seem to lose time sometimes!! LOL if anyone knows where time go's to hide, PLEASE let me know!!
